Craig Hacklander has had his hand in nearly every facet of business at Jackmont Hospitality, from sourcing real estate to building new brand concepts, which is why he now answers to Vice President of Strategic Operations. Responsible for overseeing all aspects of operations for Jackmont's multi-brand airport concessions program to include award winning One Flew South, providing strategic direction for 40 TGI FRIDAYS® locations and project management of system wide IT initiatives, his current position is no small feat.
Craig, alias “CDHACK,” didn’t always aspire to be in the foodservice field. He graduated the University of Maryland with a degree in Agricultural Business. When farming didn’t pan out, he began working for TGI FRIDAYS® in 1991 as an Expeditor. Since then, he’s worked his way up through the hourly ranks at various Friday’s locations, with positions like Steward, Kitchen Manager, General Manager, Director of Operations, Project Manager, Director of Marketing and Director of New Concepts and Design. To say Craig knows Friday’s is an understatement!
Throughout his Friday’s career-span, Craig has earned several awards, including the Sales Achievement, Profit Achievement and Carlson Communications Achievement awards. He also achieved 100 percent of the goals in a Turnaround Bonus Plan, taking his store from $5.6M to $6.8M in two years.
When he’s not running the show at Jackmont Hospitality, Craig is running, literally. He is an active member in the Atlanta Track Club and recently placed second in his age group. Craig can be seen driving his yellow and black golf cart throughout Peachtree City, GA, with his wife Shannon (who used to work as an accountant for TGI FRIDAYS®) and children, Ashli, Avery and Lila.
