With more than 30 years in the restaurant industry, Director of Operations Jim Sarcia knows first and foremost that his most important responsibility is hiring great talent and helping his staff grow within the company. Jim has been with TGI Fridays since 1999 when he started with the company as an accountant and joined Jackmont Hospitality in 2015. In many ways, Jim has been training for this role for most of his life. He began his career in his youth, starting out in the dish room of a local restaurant before moving on to cooking behind the line in the kitchen and, eventually, the front of house.
Jim credits his success within the hospitality industry to one very important characteristic: passion. Having learned from many authentic and passionate leaders throughout his career, Jim tries to pass along a dedication to passionate service and execution to the team that he leads today. He measures success by the number of his team members that receive promotions under his leadership and believes that discipline and structure are the keys to creating a culture of service for every guest.
When not running things behind the scenes at Jackmont Hospitality, enjoys playing guitar, coaching youth soccer, and spending time with his family: wife Julie, daughters Isabella (14) and Sarah (12) and son William (9) and Cody, a terrier.
