As Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Jackmont Hospitality,
Inc., Branch has the responsibility of the company’s day-to-day
operations. This includes overseeing Jackmont’s joint ventures
in the market segments of corporate dining, healthcare, school support
and campus services, encompassing such accounts as Skadden, Arps,
Slate, Meagher & Flom, a prestigious international law firm
in Washington, DC; Morehouse College, Spelman College, Grady Healthcare
Systems and the Atlanta Public Schools, all located in Atlanta,
GA.
Additionally,
Branch oversees the operations of five T.G.I. Friday’s
restaurants in four states (DC, Georgia, Maryland and Pennsylvania),
which generates revenues in excess of $25 million yearly. This includes
the Friday’s at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport,
the highest revenue producer, per square foot, in the entire Friday’s
system.
Branch
has over 30 years in the foodservice industry. Before joining Jackmont
Hospitality
in 2002, she served as Regional Director of Operations
for Morrison’s Healthcare, responsible for overall management
of foodservice at 14 hospitals and nursing care facilities, representing
$30 million in annual sales. Prior to that, she was President and
COO of Gourmet Services, Inc., a contract foodservice company specializing
in campus services.
Branch
attended North Carolina A&T State University, with additional
studies at Los Angeles City College and University of Georgia. She
is a member of the Women’s Foodservice Forum and served on the
boards of Girl’s Inc., Coalition of 100 Black Women of Atlanta,
Intergenerational Resource Center, Inc., and the Bobby Dodd Foundation.
Branch has been featured in Black Enterprise Magazine, UpScale Magazine
and the Atlanta Tribune.
